Common questions
My phone doesn't get a notification when I run a Cursor task.
Open the PWA on your phone, accept the notification permission prompt, then run `008 start` again. The CLI prints a QR — re-scan it to refresh the push subscription.
The agent keeps running even when I tap DENY.
Make sure your hook actually runs — check `~/.008/hook.log`. If the line for that command shows decision: 'deny', the hook returned the right answer. If Cursor still proceeded, file a Cursor bug — 008 cannot force-stop an agent that ignores its hook.
I'm offline — does my license still work?
Yes, for 7 days. After that the CLI refuses to start until it can revalidate with our license server.
Can I move my license to another machine?
Solo plan: 1 device at a time. Run `008 status` on the old machine to deactivate, then `008 activate <key>` on the new one. Pro plan: up to 5 devices simultaneously.
How do I cancel?
From the Stripe email receipt, click 'Manage subscription' — Stripe's customer portal lets you cancel in one click. Or email us.
I lost my license key.
Email us with the Stripe receipt or the email you paid with — we'll resend.
